Welcome to the website of children’s author and podcaster, Sinéad O’Hart!

If you’re new around here: I’m so glad to meet you. If you’re not new around here, you’ll probably be wondering: ‘Whatever happened to TEN YEARS of blog posts?’* From now on, Clockwatching… HQ (this site’s proper name) will be staying static, and (fortunately? Unfortunately? I’ll let you be the judge!) I won’t be posting any more blogs here. However, this is the place to watch if you’re:

• Looking for your next great read, or searching for the perfect book for those fantastic young readers in your life;
• Interested in keeping up with what’s new with me, books-wise – every new book release will be flagged here, and you’ll always find pre-order and purchase links;
• Searching for resources, links to interviews with me, and any other interesting tidbits I can find;
• Interested in knowing what my least favourite day in history is…
• Feeling the need to get in touch with me;
• Desperate to know more about the events I can offer;
• Fascinated by the idea of a children’s literature podcast called Storyshaped and excited to listen in;
• Curious to learn more about me.

To those who have been following my writing since August 2012, all I can say is: thank you. You made blogging here so much fun, and my journey from dreamer to drafter to querier to published author would have been so much drearier without you.
